Metal detectors are invaluable when trying to relocate a lost item of jewellery. The GVMD has club members around the Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Taunton, Bridgewater, Gloucester area who can attend the site of a lost item and quickly relocate it for you. In these situations its best to leave the site as is and act quickly. The longer we wait before attempting a recovery, the more chance there is of the item moving again.
